How to become a member

Who can become a member?

Membership is for anyone with previous experience in printmaking who wants to work on their own projects. Whether you’re looking for a regular place to work, a space to exchange ideas with others or a way to develop your own practice. At műDruck, you’ll find the facilities and community to keep working with printmaking on a regular basis.

What your membership includes

  • Independent use of the workshop

    With your membership, you have access to the following work areas:

    • Etching room
    • Etching preparation area
    • Screen printing room
    • Screen printing preparation area
    • Front Room as an additional work area

  • Hours included

    Your membership includes a monthly allocation of hours:

    • Standard membership: 12 hours per month
    • Pro membership: 24 hours per month
    • The workshop can be used during designated membership slots within opening hours. Each slot is 3 hours long.

    If one membership slot is not enough, you can book additional hours on site, subject to availability. Additional hours cost €10 (VAT included) per hour.

    With your membership, you get:

  • Standard Membership

    • 12 hours per month
    • Monthly: €119 (incl. VAT)
    • Annual: €95 (incl. VAT) / month

    Independent use of the workshop in booked 3-hour slots.

  • Pro Membership

    • 24 hours per month
    • Monthly: €239 incl. VAT
    • Annual: €215 incl. VAT per month

    Pro members have access to their own storage space for works and materials.

  • Reduced rate*

    • 12 hours per month
    • Monthly: €66 incl. VAT

    *The reduced-rate membership is available to school students, students aged 19 and over, people doing the Federal Volunteer Service, recipients of unemployment benefit I, and people with severe disabilities.

How do I become a member?

Membership requires a good level of prior experience with printmaking techniques and participation in the Workshop Tour. During the tour, we assess together whether you are able to use the workshop independently. Experienced printmakers show us examples of their previous work. Beginners complete a suitable introductory or intensive course after the tour.

  • 1. Book the Studio Tour

    The Studio Tour is free and takes place every Wednesday and Sunday. During the tour, we show you around the workshop, answer your questions and give you an overview of the work areas and membership.

  • 2. Meet us at the studio

    After the tour, you can express your interest in becoming a member. We will then assess whether you can use the workshop independently straight away or whether you need to complete a suitable introductory or intensive course before joining.

  • 3. Invitation to join

    Once all requirements have been met, you will receive an invitation to join. After signing up, you can book membership slots through the members’ calendar and use the workshop independently.
