b) Marketing Communication

Application Emails: When you register for an open call, courses, workshops or memberships, we use your email address exclusively for communication regarding the specific matter.

7. Open Call and Submission Form

For the implementation of our open call, we use a form system on our website.

As part of the application, the following personal data is processed:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Artist name or collective name (optional)

  • Instagram link (optional)

  • Website link (optional)

  • Submitted image files

  • Artist biography or CV

  • Concept description of the submitted work and its relation to the theme of the open call

The data is processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the selection process, communicating with applicants and organizing the open call.

Access to submitted data is restricted to the responsible members of the mű team.

Submitted materials and data are stored as follows after notification of the decision to all applicants, provided no statutory retention obligations exist or further use has not been expressly agreed:

  • In case of rejection: Deleted no later than 6 months after notification

  • In case of acceptance: Data required for further implementation is stored for the duration of the collaboration. Where statutory retention obligations exist, in particular under commercial or tax law, the relevant documents are stored for the duration of the respective statutory retention period.

  • Otherwise: We will delete your data upon request, provided no statutory retention obligations exist.

Processing takes place for the purpose of conducting the application and selection process. Insofar as the application aims at concluding a contract for participation in the open call or exhibition, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Publication of names, artist profiles or submitted works takes place exclusively with separate consent.

8. Integration of SimplyBook.me for Course Bookings

For managing and booking our courses and services, we use the SimplyBook.me service.

The booking system is provided via an embedded widget (iframe).

To control data transmission to SimplyBook.me, the booking widget is only loaded after active user consent. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

No connection to SimplyBook.me is established prior to this consent.

Once the booking system is activated, content from SimplyBook.me is loaded. In the process, personal data may be processed and cookies may be set by SimplyBook.me.

Possible processed data includes in particular:

  • Name

  • Contact information

  • Booking and appointment information

  • Information on booked services

  • Technical information on widget usage

Processing takes place for the purpose of organizing, managing and implementing course bookings.
