Santino is a circus child. His great-grandfather is one of the last great circus directors of Germany and tells him the stories of his ancestors: About the friendship with an elephant, about farewells, new beginnings, and life in a caravan always on the road. Circus Child tells from the life of the last nomads of Germany – about growing up with the extended family and animals, about a life without a net and safety net, free as a bird. A documentary road movie for children and their families about the life of a circus family between realism and magic.

"Doks für alle" is curated by filmmaker Nele Dehnenkamp.
