Silkscreen Introduction
Screen printing is a printing technique that transfers graphic motifs onto paper or fabric. Ink is pushed through a fine-mesh screen with a squeegee onto the printing surface. In this practical course, you'll learn the basics of this technique and realise your own motifs. In a small group, you'll work through the entire process – from preparing the screen to the finished print. You don't need any previous experience. Curiosity and the enjoyment of making are the best qualifications. At the end of the course, you take the prints you've made home with you.

Who is the course for?
The course is open to beginners.
What to bring:
- Printing paper (can also be purchased on site)
For printing, it’s best if the paper is 100% cotton, acid-free, and fine-textured, with a weight of 150–300 gsm depending on the technique.Lighter paper is generally better suited for hand-printing techniques, while heavier paper works better for machine printing.
