From Photo to Screen Print
In this compact course, you'll learn each step of the process. You'll prepare photos digitally, print them onto transparent film as templates, coat a screen with photo emulsion, expose it with UV light, and then squeegee colour onto paper. This is how your photo becomes a screen print. You'll finish with printed results and can then make screen prints on your own.

Who is this course for?
This course is for beginners and everyone interested in screen printing. The course focuses on how photos are transferred to print.
What to bring:
- Paper (can also be purchased on site)
- Exposure film / Transparent paper (can also be purchased on site)
Important: Bring 2–3 digital photos and your laptop. We'll prepare them together in Adobe Photoshop. Or bring them on a USB stick. Bringing your own laptop will speed up the process and the course will profit from that.
For printing, it’s best if the paper is 100% cotton, acid-free, and fine-textured, with a weight of 150–300 gsm depending on the technique.Lighter paper is generally better suited for hand-printing techniques, while heavier paper works better for machine printing.
