Linocut Introduction
With the introduction to linocut, you'll learn the relief printing technique at the same time. You carve, scrape, and cut grooves into linoleum blocks to create negative space for your print. The remaining linoleum is covered with a roller and ink, forming the basis for printing on paper. From your first sketch to the finished result, in this course you'll learn all the important steps of this accessible and colourful printing technique. At the end of the course, you take your prints home with you. You don't need any previous experience, just the enjoyment of creating and interest in working with your hands.

Who is the course for?
The course is open to beginners.
What to bring:
- Printing paper (can also be purchased on site)
For printing, it’s best if the paper is 100% cotton, acid-free, and fine-textured, with a weight of 150–300 gsm depending on the technique.Lighter paper is generally better suited for hand-printing techniques, while heavier paper works better for machine printing.
